Wally — Personal Finance
Wally ("the App", "we", "our") is a personal finance tracker developed by Hassan ("Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Wally is designed as a privacy-first, offline-first application. The App does not operate servers, does not collect analytics, does not serve advertising, and does not share your financial information with anyone. Your data lives on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up to your own Google Drive account.
By using Wally you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
The table below describes every category of data the App may access, where it is stored, and whether it ever leaves your device.

All data is used solely to provide the features you actively use:
We do not use any data for profiling, targeted advertising, or sharing with third parties for their commercial purposes.
Local storage. All financial data is stored in a SQLite database in the App's private storage directory. On Android this directory is sandboxed and inaccessible to other apps unless your device is rooted.
App lock. Wally supports a PIN code and biometric lock (fingerprint / face ID). Your PIN is stored as a SHA-256 hash — the plain-text PIN is never saved. Biometric credentials are managed entirely by the operating system.
Google Drive backup. If you enable the optional backup feature, your data is uploaded to your personal Google Drive account — an account that only you control. We do not have access to your Drive, your backup files, or their contents.
Data deletion. Because we hold no data on our servers, deleting the App from your device deletes all local data. If you created a Google Drive backup, you may delete it directly from your Google Drive settings at any time.
Wally integrates with a minimal number of third-party services. None of them receive your personal financial data.

The App contains no advertising SDKs, no marketing analytics libraries, and no crash-reporting SDKs that transmit data to third parties.
Wally is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will include an in-app notice on the next App launch.
